Knee stabilisation and relief

The Genu Sensa stabilises the knee in case of pain, swelling or inflammation, promoting its function and helping to alleviate pain. A ring-shaped Technogel pad provides targeted tracking of the patella. Additionally, compression reduces swelling and effusion. Pleasant wearer comfort and a good fit are also supported by lateral coil springs.

Compression zones

The 3D flat-knitted fabric makes specific compression zones possible, thereby helping to reduce swelling.

Thanks to the special knitting method, it adapts to the individual shape of the knee.

Elastic at the back of the knee

Because the orthosis is soft and elastic at the back of the knee, wearer comfort is assured even when bending the knee joint.

Ring-shaped pad

The pad is made of Technogel. It relieves and guides the patella.

Coil springs

The lateral coil springs ensure an excellent fit and keep the support from shifting. The coil springs are integrated into the knitted fabric.

Skin-friendly hygiene

The Genu Sensa is very skin-friendly. Antibacterial fibres integrated into the knitted fabric effectively reduce the growth of bacteria to inhibit odour formation. The functional fibres absorb moisture and wick it to the surface of the knitted fabric, where it evaporates quickly.

Good fit

The three-dimensional flat-knitted fabric makes it comfortable to wear. It adapts perfectly to the body so that constrictions and unpleasant pressure points are avoided. The patented knit fabric especially developed for the back of the knee is particularly soft and elastic.

Is the Genu Sensa washable?

The support is machine washable at 30°C. The antibacterial effect of the integrated fibres is retained even after repeated laundering.
Is the Genu Sensa latex free?

Yes, the support provides effective protection against latex allergies as it is free of natural latex.
Can I wear the Genu Sensa even for extended periods of time?

Many users wear the Genu Sensa over an extended period and also for prophylaxis. We recommend consulting your doctor, who will advise you in detail.
